As of March 21st average agricultural producers’ milk selling price in Russian Federation reached 21,406.7 per ton. This is according to subordinate to Ministry of Agriculture Farm Sector Accounting Center. The price is 0.3% lower compared to the previous period under consideration and 0.4% higher compared to the same period of 2015.
The cheapest milk is in the Republic of Buryatia - 18,000 rubles per ton. In Central Federal District it reached 21,414.7 per ton, in Southern Federal District – 23,389 rubles per ton (+3.3% compared to the previous month), in North Caucasian Federal District – 21,794.3 rubles per ton. In the Volga Region the average agricultural producers’ milk selling price decreased by 0.7% to 20,352.3 rubles per ton, in Ural Federal District it reached 20,237.5 rubles per ton, in Siberian Federal District – 21,358.1 rubles per ton, in Far Eastern Federal District - 30,616.8 rubles per ton, in Crimean Federal District – 24,050.0 rubles per ton, Northwestern Federal District – 22,636.8 rubles per ton (-0.8%).
