Arkady Zlochevsky: Russia will reduce grain exports to 45-47 million tons

According to the President of the Russian grain union Arkady Zlochevsky, in 2019 they expect a reduction in grain exports to 45-47 million tons, due to a decrease in supply and the amount of resources in the country, writes The DairyNews.

- The current price of our shipment is 244 dollars per ton, - said Zlochevsky.

According to the expert, the forecast of GNP growth is 1.5-2%, that is, the overall level of the economy is low.

- The decline in gross indicators occurs against the background of revenue growth. Now the revenue has increased by 25%. Wheat harvest is 72 million tons, 1.9 million tons is the minimum harvest of rye. Rye is not an active export position. Gross yield of barley is 17 million tons, oats – 4.7 million tons. Corn - 11 million 160 thousand tons, millet - 216 thousand tons. At the same time, the harvest of oilseeds - 12.6 million tons - a record yield of sunflower. The final results will be published in March, most likely they will be higher, - believes the expert.

Exports remain at a historic maximum due to wheat sales, said Zlochevsky.
