In particular, according to Sidorov, the marking code was successfully applied and read on such types of packaging as cardboard box, soft packaging, tinfoil, PET bottle and "pad" package. He noted that together with the participants of the experiment, three ways of applying the marking code were identified: typography, direct application and labeling. "It takes less than 60 minutes to run the solution in production, and the codes themselves are printed in the printing house", he added.
The representative of the company "Piskarevsky plant" Georgy Zhitmarev noted that the most convenient for the company was the manufacturer’s application of the marking code. "So far, we have worked out one type of packaging, we hope that in the framework of the experiment we will work on all types of packaging", he said.
According to the decree of the government of the Russian Federation, mandatory labeling of products in Russia begins on June 1, 2020. Today, Russia is conducting a voluntary experiment on the labeling of finished dairy products. It was launched by the government on 15 July 2019 and will last until 29 February 2020. The CATD is the operator of the state information system of digital labeling and tracing, created on the basis of the agreement on public-private partnership for private funds. During the experiment, the operator provides free labeling equipment.
