Andrey Romanov: the Chinese market is complex, but interesting and promising
- Export means new markets, new production volumes, and accordingly, with an increase in production volumes, costs are reduced and products become even more competitive. Food traditionally requires additional support from government agencies, because each country is very attentive to its market and tries to protect it, to limit it from external supplies. Work on the opening of new markets should be carried out not only by business, but also at the level of Federal and regional authorities, this work is now actively carried out in the country, - said Andrey Romanov.
According to the expert, the Chinese market is very interesting and promising
- But once again, we are not waited for in this market, it is a competition and in fact each of the enterprises should create its own program to enter this market and promote products of its own brands. The work is difficult but interesting, and we hope that it will be successful. From the point of view of state support, we have not received anything yet, but we have not started exporting yet. Only last year, one of our enterprises was agreed upon and included in the list of enterprises from which exports to China are allowed. We are now actively negotiating with potential Chinese partners, we plan to take part in the exhibition which will be held in May in Shanghai, we hope that the Ministry of agriculture of Russia will also be able to unite many market participants to participate in this exhibition and make a single stand, - said Romanov.
The representative of the company "Zalessky farmer" stressed that such products with long shelf life, both sterilized milk and cheese and butter can be exported to China.
According to Romanov, an important step is to find partners in China with whom it will be possible to choose suitable products and promote them to the Chinese market.
