Alexander Tkachev: it is time to focus on increasing exports

Speaking at the final Board meeting of the Ministry of agriculture of the Russian Federation, the Minister of agriculture of the Russian Federation outlined the change of strategy of agriculture, informs The DairyNews.
"If earlier we talked about import substitution, now is the time to focus on increasing exports," - said Alexander Tkachev.
"Last year we made about $17 billion in exports (of food products – editor’s note)", - said Dmitry Medvedev.
Speaking about the sanctions, the Prime Minister noted that there is no basis for a change of positions. "Restrictions on import remain so we will work quietly. Our partners do not make any effort so that we changed the position," said Dmitry Medvedev.
